Description
Generation X is a high-tech, visually-oriented generation that seeks community, authenticity, and ways to make a difference in the world. What NeXt gathers the experiences of congregational leaders who are effectively ministering to, and with, this generation. Their perspectives offer practical and realistic ideas and approaches for others to consider for their settings. Topics such as understanding the characteristic of the generation, preparing the congregation, planning hospitality, communication, social ministry and worship, making disciples, and mentoring leaders are addressed. A video illustrating a variety of music, worship, and preaching styles, is also available. The video includes interviews with congregational leaders and people whom the congregation has reached.
